Harcourts and Aussie Property Group Join Forces

The Managing Director of Aussie Property Group,  Brad Day made the statement today with  Richard Morgan from Harcourts Bunbury that the two company’s are joining forces.

Mr Day went on to say. “By combining the two offices, we both grow,  I am glad to see Harcourts continue on with the name Aussie Property Group. The new name is set to  be Harcourts Aussie Property Group.”

Pressure of South West Rentals surging!

Mr Morgan, Managing Director of Harcourts Bunbury said “In doing our regular investigations into property trends, we noticed a dramatic jump upward in median Weekly rent.”

“According to our latest report median House rent for May 2010 compared to May 2011 jumped 10% to $330per week and Unit/Apartments for the same period jumped 20.8% to $320per week.”

Bunbury back on the Real Estate Investor radar!

The recent news from the Planning Minister John Day, announcing that the waterfront land in the Marlston Hill area of Bunbury and on the north side of Koombana Drive between Blair Street and the Cut had been approved for redevelopment, is exciting news for Bunbury.

The $45 million redevelopment could substantially increase employment and create some unique opportunities, along with redesigning the way Bunbury looks at the moment.

The section of land on the southern side of Koombana Drive would remain public open space and free from commercial development.

Google Base listings another IT first for Harcourts

Mr Morgan from Harcourts’ Bunbury confirmed what Jason Wills, the
Harcourts Head of Technology said about the groups ongoing leadership in the real estate sector has been further reinforced this week with its decision to add its property listings to Google Base.

Mr Wills went on to say that the move reflects Harcourts’ commitment to providing its clients properties’ with automatic exposure across all of Google search websites, including Google Base.

Surge in Rental enquiry

According to Richard Morgan of Harcourt’s Bunbury, there has been a dramatic increase in properties being rented over the past month.

Mr  Morgan said “We actively promote our rental accommodation to corporate clients along with the 14 websites, but we had noticed a slow down in the number of properties renting until last month.”

“Last month we noticed a dramatic increase in the number of enquiries and properties renting.”

Mr Morgan went on to say, “All I can put this quick change down to is the increased employment demand and opportunities happening around the greater Bunbury area.”
